The Khazanah IHH Healthcare Fund ("the Fund") provides partial and fully-sponsored medical treatment to needy patients in IHH's home markets of Malaysia, Singapore and Turkey through the expertise of IHH's network of world-class healthcare professionals and medical facilities.

Announced at the launch of IHH Healthcare Berhad's initial public offering in July 2012, RM50 million was set aside from the realised and targeted gain of Khazanah's investment in IHH to identify and assist needy patients in IHH's home markets. The Fund disburses RM10 million a year for five years where 70% is allocated for Malaysia, and 30% split equally between Singapore and Turkey.



Parkway Pantai's programme improves the quality of life of beneficiaries needing surgical and medical procedures. The Fund covers treatment from assessment to post-surgical therapy in key areas including paediatric and adult cardiology, orthopaedic, ophthalmology and oncology among others.



The IMU Cares' outreach campaign provides basic health and medical screening to remote communities. IMU staff and students have the knowledge and skill to make a difference to underserved communities and reach out through the purchase of equipment and vehicles to give health teams better access to remote areas.



Acibadem Holdings' 'Dreams Coming True' project in Turkey funds fertility treatments for needy families and demonstrates a successful working partnership between Acibadem hospitals and government ministries. Couples who have benefitted from the Fund have experienced the joys of parenthood and a fulfilling family life.
